The Republican has quickly become THE champion of rank-and-file Republicans in Illinois. The Republican provides the news and analysis that regular Republicans need to turn their Illinois GOP around. The scoundrels who still think they can misuse our Illinois GOP may hate the sunlight's disinfectant qualities. But that's too bad. You can count on The Republican to keep giving you straight talk.

FINALLY, there is a rewarding avenue to political involvement for busy people like you! RYP provides Illinois residents with a fun, rewarding and less intimidating avenue towards greater political involvement.

RYP demonstrates our commitment to Compassionate Conservatism by reaching out to diverse communities through participation in volunteer service activities.

RYP supports President Bush's agenda by helping to deliver his message and by educating voters on important issues and public policy. RYP members are not expected to agree on every issue and we welcome diverse voices and opinions. We will promote issues where we share common ground: better schools, homeland security, a clean environment, corporate and fiscal responsibility, smaller government, and a return to civility to Washington, D.C. and politics.

RYP IS 100% VOLUNTEER. It is the dedicated people donating their hours because they believe in our Party, which allows RYP to accomplish so much real work. We believe what our Party needs most in Illinois right now, isn't more money - it's more involvement and volunteer efforts.

Even if you have never been involved in politics before, we look forward to having you in RYP.

Direct elections for the 19 State Central Committee members must be restored before the 2006 election cycle. This is crucial to returning at least some measure of accountability.

It’s absurd for our State Party to even talk about unity and building the grassroots, as long as they divisively deny Republicans the same respect and trust which Illinois Democrats receive from their Party.

Through the Republican Renaissance Project we'll continue to expose the problems and behavior that led to our Illinois Party's total collapse. We'll keep the spotlight on and inform Republicans about the opportunities available, as well as about the process and requirements for getting involved at all levels.

We believe that once the urgent need is explained - better leaders will rise to the challenge. We know that leaders of strength and integrity are out there - in cities, towns and farms all across Illinois. Republicans who care about the future of our Party and our State should never want to return to the Dark Ages of the Illinois GOP.
